It was about Selby’s wife. Sounds like she’s had a problem with her health.

      I hope it's just a minor one.

        • Wonderful final to cap a wonderful tournament for me. So pleased for Luca, loved watching him play and he's a great lad.
Hope all is OK for Mark and Vickie.

          • The Belgian bullet hits it's mark. Well done Luca. A great advert for World Snooker.

            • Belgium has two under 21's on the pro tour, Britain doesn't have any.

                  • Whatever it is Mark's wife Vicky has to "stay strong" about, I found it a little bit out of place for Luca to mention it in his victory interview... whatever it is, the time and the place to make anything public or keep it private is theirs to choose. Luca just took that from them, I felt.

                    Just saying.

Liam Graham as well.is Jackson Paige a pro and os he under 21? He looked about forty when he was fourteen.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Leclercq probably has the slightly stronger background as he qualified from the Q tour against older players.
Anyway statistically Belgium is probably a better place to progress as a player than Britain

Pretty much agree Trains I think Mertens and Leclercq are far more advanced as players than Stan and Liam, the main tour could be a tough school for the two youngsters.

I'm sure he meant only good, but he seems a little socially inept to me, often responds strangely in interviews, maybe on the spectrum. Anyway, didn't Mark mention it first?

Possibly might get a popularity spike now but in general our snooker scene isn't bad, far better then France for example.
If you wanted you could play a tournament on most weekends on the season, there are regular 'club tournaments', the official bbsa tournaments - national and per province, the weekly league matches and other open tournaments.
And there is a organiser named 'DMT' that organises 10 tournaments in a year where the finest players (and me) go to.
The club where i go most of the time has 10 tables and on a regular Friday night or weekend day it would be difficult to get a table because they are all occupied.
