      • So, „boring“ Mark Selby becomes the first player in history to make a maximum in a World Championship final.

Special moment certainly for Brendan Moore also in his last match.

                  The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Thanks Jim. Must feel a bit strange for him.

Not sure if he again commentates for BBC. Anyways if I remember correct I‘ve seen him in the crowd for the final in past years before.

I like that, that fact that he's a pro but still enjoys watching as a punter, obviously still really loves the game.

Dito. I remember Peter Ebdon was watching the Final a couple of times as well.

Yeah, I vaguely remember that. Wonder if they have to pay for their tickets?

You're starting to come round and notice these things, look out for the one where the shot is obviously just out of reach and his does his stretch but can't reach, mini butt stretch but can't reach and finally rest shot routine that's taken an absolute age while the ref knows it's a rest shot from the beginning yet doesn't say anything and the audience claps when the simple rest shot is finally potted as if it was something difficult because he's taken so bloody long over it
He's been doing this for years and the pundits call it being mentally strong, yet he's quite relaxed really as he knows exactly what he's doing, deliberately trying to break the focus of his opponent.
Same ref when he beat Ronnie in the final with these tactics, nothing will be said or done about it.

but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair
