So many players struggling to score with the new conditions, i think the Q Tour should be opened up to everyone who entered this and not just the best 48 and 16 qualifiers, otherwise too many potential players will fall by the wayside i think.

Cue crafty post #9, Ed Warr's match lasted over five hours for six frames played, Burrell's was about four and a half hours.
Stupid tournament really having pro's with two years plus pro experience in the same tournament as players with little to no experience.
The system needs changing but that would mean somebody somewhere being innovative, putting concrete genuine thought into it and not being a company guy.
Good luck with that i suppose.

Hey peeps, question about the way Q School works. What happens if a player fails to get the tour card but tops the order of merit, gets to play in big tournaments thanks to withdrawals, has a cracking season and finishes well inside the top half of the world ranking... does this player have to go through Q School again next year or does he secure his spot through his ranking? Thx in advance

They'll appear on the one year list or season points list how its worded on snooker.org.
Daniel Wells is a good example of getting a two year card from this list after just missing out at the Q School quarter final last year.

A good player can still play decent snooker on these conditions, but it's the small mistakes with positional play that catch up with them against the more experienced on these conditions.⚪ 🔴🟡🟢🟤🔵💗⚫🕳️😎

Good win for Iulian Boiko, he missed matchball blue, dropped his head and then knocked it in after a safety exchange, i thought Liam Davies matchplay would be a bit better tbh.
Boiko's got Stuart Carrington next, tough.
Womersley, Benzey, Brandon Hall and Staniland all look good players.
Totten could beat Ursenbacher too we'll see.
