Quite a few upsets yesterday and today. Just saw a bit of the Ben and Gary match. Both were missing shots which they normally wouldn't.

I hear that what we see now is TEMPORARY!

The change is due to a contract change from what I hear.

We have this awful system whilst they create a new system, which (supposedly) is going to be better than the old system, ?
When the NEW system should be coming along, who knows! :shrug:

But one thing, I hope, is that it is NOTHING like this temp system, the look and feel is terrible!

All I hope is that this NEW system will have what we had on the old
1. Clear calendar arrangement (the current is an atrocious display, hard to figure out and the pick list is useless. note to developers - look at the old system please).
2. Once into a tournament, Match display does not need to be so large on each match, save space and reduce the wasted space.
3. We don't need per day selection by the awful calendar icon display - the old system has all matches for the round and for all days - please get rid of the "per day display".
4. Get rid of the mouse hoover over "view" which hides the whole match, get rid! We are not in kindergarten!
5. Frames display - stop the "flicker count of numbers" just show the numbers!
6. Where is Century count?
6.1 Where on match display and frame scores is the breaks over 50 count?
7. Where is Average Shot Time (not for me but a lot of people like to see this).
8. Live score matches again terrible display, hardly works most of the time (ok temporary system but please get rid of terrible display)


Now I understand that this current thing is "temporary" and maybe someone has worked hard on this but sorry it is not a patch on the old which you could have followed a bit closer, and I hope the NEW system will be closer to the old than this temporary.
Sorry to offend the current developers and I hope the new developers hear what people have been saying on here and Tweeter (X (sorry Facebook patent)) but maybe before you finish the development maybe ask the users what they want to see and how it should look!
Just asking!

WST - if I was the project manger of this change I would have done testing during the NO live events situation which was a long time since World champs and not done it in front of the WORLD!
101 of project management roll-out - don't start testing in front of the main audience!
