You could be right there mate. I don’t know anything about cue sticks. Would make sense for an American guy to have a pool cue. Not sure how the specs would compare to a traditional snooker cue. Maybe bigger tip?

Generally, a bit heavier and larger tip (~12-14mm) and similar length.
He did play some lovely shots with it

Must only want 8 matches carried forward. 4 wildcards. 2 Chinese players. Luca and Ronnie. Bit weird how they work these things out. Scott Donaldson was miffed when his Scottish Open qualifier wasn’t held over to main event. He quoted a few instances where the local player was held over. Maybe something to do with who the organisers think are the crowd pullers.

Was another good match, Mertens has stopped shaking and looks like he's far more comfortable in his surroundings, he played well.

Yeah he played very well, Ben's a nice lad, played him 4 times on tournaments (well he potted and i took out the balls)

I find the lighting a little too bright for the tv tables. Is it just me?
