Glad Ronnie won, hope he kicks in from that, played well all week, either leading in matches or coming from behind.

Can't quite believe that Eurosport is showing normal subscription payers all matches up until the final then expecting those paying customers to fork out more to see the final!! Disgusts me and I won't be paying a penny more so it's failed in its miserable quest to shaft its own customers... well in my case at least!!

Nothing really surprises me these days with costs of living but this is so so low imho.

Well I still enjoyed my "Freeview" late version of the final even though they pathetically stole one frame from viewing as if to say "were not giving it all to you" making me hate them even more! Great game though and nice to see Luca continue to play fearless snooker, long may that continue as he's proved himself absolutely. I think it meant a lot to Ronnie to get this win and title and it was evident when he threw a little quick one in there on that pink that should've netted him a 11-7 win. He certainly felt it after that. Great entertainment though. 👏👏

I renewed Eurosport in April for £39.99, watch all of the final no problems. Didn't know you need to purchase Discovery as well.

I think it's subscription changes Ken, I'm on an old Sky contract that I've threatened to leave a few times so I think they realise you got a decent deal and find new ways to squeeze you for more cash. But no way thats happening because later views or YouTube will always suffice for me.

I watched a shortform edit of the final on youtube this morning, I've cancelled my discovery+ sub as the stream is constantly buffering and going down. Both players did well in difficult conditions, so many bad contacts but Ronnie showed he's the best in the world on slow tables but why he didn't play that pink left handed defeats me.
