Well done Tom. All that shaking of your head must work lol. Hangs on to his top 16 place for a few more days at least. I didn’t see the last few frames. Poor Noppon. Couldn’t see him losing that one. He was buzzing.

Really like Tom as well, but I did feel for Noppon, he played some great stuff, only to get stuffed himself. As for Kyren, well, he's "still young enough........"

Yes I did see the PMI, good lad isn't he! It must be agonising knowing you need just one frame when your oppo needs five in a row to win, but just not being able to get the job done. As you say they're both young enough to get over it and fight back stronger.

Having said that I think BetFair did the BBC stream last night and Rob Walker was commentating, ugh.
Alan Hughes never did snooker commentary, who was the doofus that green-lighted Walker ?

Next frame he bangs in a 127 total clearance and it's all AHH he's settled in now!! no sh1t Sherlock, it's the fricking second frame!!

Is it me or did it briefly sound like an alarm went off on the Eurosport stream?

Don't know about the rest of you but I can't strand watching Elliot Slesser, take an inordinate amount of time over every single shot and has spent his whole career at least six inches out of position. How does he pay the bills ?
No play tonight as yet, seems a fire alarm went off in the venue.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Wow, I wonder what the odds are for this to happen twice in a match. Both players played into the cluster of reds off the blue and a red went in causing a foul.

So far only of the 8 seeds to play we've only had 4 win the opening round and of those two needed a decider.

I've never known a season where so many of the top 16 are so out of form. With the added pressure of not getting any ranking points if they lose in the last 32, I think being seeded through to this stage is a hindrance rather than a benefit.

The qualifiers all look sharper for having 2 matches under their belt, I expect it to continue too with the likes of Robertson, Milkins struggling for form and with tough opponents. They'll probably want to return to a flat 128 again if this becomes a pattern and we barely have any seeded players reach the quarter finals which is a distinct possibility.
