One a serious note I believe that the worlds and the masters should swap venues. Crucible is fine with a one table set up for the masters and Ally Pally could erect auditioriums in different halls for the two table set up needed for the worlds.
Yes I know everyone else thinks that history and tradition are important (yawn!) but to be honest the worlds outgrew the Crucible forty years ago and a lot of players don't like the cramped conditions and noise from the other table when playing.
And the insects will be busy outside in april/may rather than being woken up from their winter slumber and flying around in a dozy state pitching on everything that smells like Kyrens hair gel

Great match Ali v Judd, not always been a fan of Carter but the way he has conducted himself lately and the form he's shown made me root for him in this match. Judd wasn't on top form and looked like he might win with some of the run he got. Feels like justice was served today, right man won.

Carter's self-belief grew, just as Trump's drained away. Some unbelievably easy misses in one of the middle frames, though, to lead to the decider - almost like one opponent missing sitters can 'infect' the other one to do the same. Funny how often you see that.

Best thing about it for me was Carter didn't beat himself on this occasion. He certainly had cause to be fed up with some of the run especially the missed green that nearly fluked to the yellow pocket but got complete snookered cover from the brown, that would leave most feeling the gods were against them, but he knuckled down and persevered so 👏👏
