You've probably read this morning why, but for those who haven't here's the story - https://www.eurosport.com/snooker/wo...16/story.shtml

Anyone else think that the troubles in gaza might be having an effect on Hossein ? Iran getting blamed for everything in the mainstream media and he may have thought Mark slapping his leg was because he'd just beaten one of those arab terrorist sympathisers 🀐
It can't be easy for him at the moment, US and UK warships right on his countries doorstep laden with death and destruction and itching for an excuse while he's over here trying to make his mark.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Not sure if that is the reason. He behaved unusual before too. The break off shot against ROS and the interviews at that time come to mind. Maybe he is a bit like ROS that's what I feel.

Awful loser. First the charade against ROS, where he pretended to be his best friend after getting hammered, now, this, against Mark, of the most laid back players I can think of. Never was Vafaei fan, never will be.

Very thoughtful V, let's not also forget he's only 29, probably felt humiliated by his miss calculation of the score when potting that pink, and going on to lose the frame (someone should tell him Selby has done that!). Then maybe add that he possibly found Marks antics hiding the cue ball albeit jokingly , as not taking their match and him as an opponent seriously. It's easy for me to understand how his view of all this lead him to feel disrespected.

I love Williams, and know he meant no offense at all, but it's possibly unfair to expect all cultures to understand the humour and his personal traits of feeling no pressure in televised match snooker.

So you say you never were a fan, assume that goes back before the ROS match you mention, why was that then?

Yes i agree there too. In my family and friends circle we refer to our children and people we know with quirks in their personality as "isms" ( from mannerisms) there is much known today about the autistic scale and various other ADHD , Savant, Asperger's etc etc.

A bit of understanding goes a long way, thankfully not all people are the same. πŸ™

Good performances from Cao, showing the qualities that ROS has challenged players to bring to the fore. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Is there a top player playing well just now? Ronnie's winning but not on fire, Judd as well. Selby, God knows, Allen meh, Robertson, Lisowski, Brecel have done nothing this season. Higgins looks done, Williams, not sure and Murphy, well he's Murphy, flatters to deceive more often than not.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Now you mention it πŸ€” kinda weird eh? A real lull.

you’d think some young keen hungry confident player would be stepping (jumping in fact) up to the plate!?!?! 🀨

I guess Cao is giving it his best efforts this week, we'll see how he gets on against Judd...

Why do I always feel when Ron plays Ding , that Ronnie talks up a lovely friendship that has admiration for Ding but I feel a comic sketch show response in my mind from Ding along the lines of β€œHere we frickin go again Ron’s gonna play his butt off and my mums gotta cook him noodles again”!! πŸ™„πŸ€£πŸ€£
