Anyone know why in this mini tournament that was broadcast today on channel 5, they use a cue ball with dots on it?

I have a few of those. They are useful when training as I can see how much side, etc., I have put on it.

So any spin on the cue ball can be seen by the cameras

Be warned. If ever you play at my place I also have a jazz ball. That is a cue ball with a tiny weight to one side so it is crazy.

Peradon used to sell a black one too which was less noticeable that it had been switched. No longer sold apparently.

Ha ha, he says that in seniors every time he gets to 69, usually when Michaela is reffing!! Have a listen on the replays, usually gets a good laugh from the crowd. (Very childish I know)
