First semi was a bit too tension racked for both players, Xiao missed more easy ones than Wu, shan't bother tonight with Allen, bores me to tears and Lei's thought processes aren't much faster either which means it's a toss up whether I bother with the final.

I thought Lei's missed red over the pocket in frame 5 would result in 4 - 1, but then Allen misses a regulation green so 3 - 2 it is. Lei seems quite good at putting his hiccups behind him. Needs some serious practice with the rest though.

You're not wrong. I really enjoyed that, he came through by shear force of will, brilliant. Not sure why the fear set in with Allen when it did, but it certainly did for him.

I didn't watch it either, but as you say the viewing figures will go up at least by one today as I will watch the final now Allen isn't in it.

Quite poor session from both players, expected better from Wu, Lei doing his usual leaving the arena stuff, he can't need a toilet break that often, after just one frame he was off.

Nice to see quote working! Also glad I'm not the only one with suspicions.

Very subjective of me to call Wu more talented, not even entirely sure what base I have/had for thinking that, possibly flair, which we all know counts for little.
