There seems to be a good gap in class between Moody and Pullen.

Good to see an African country win a match though.

I've seen them both practice at my club, there isn't that much of a gap, just that Moody is handling the pressures of pro life a little better, presumably being the more experienced! Pullen lacks that consistency at the moment, it will come!

Rather un-gentlemanly behaviour from Joe Perry tonight, tortured the life out of young Antoni Kowalski. Good job he managed to prevail, I reckon he'll still be having nightmares nonetheless.

I was thinking more along the lines of the gaudy checks popular north of the border.

It's got to be one of those lines!

How sad that a gents outfitters finds better use of a lovely snooker table is as a retro item that they probably stack cashmere sweaters on.... No snooker played on that trust me, anyone who knows this game would get a migraine playing on that.

I can think of only Mark Allen and Yan Bingtao in the modern game who may have had the opening two seasons of their pro career as good as Stan Moody.

No rebounding or yo - yoing back at the Q School for him, looks assured to stay on tour via the one year list if he doesn't actually get into the top 64 by seasons end, impressive.

                            Well done kid.

To be fair, Long Zehuang and Ishpreet Singh Chada have both won more money than Stan in the same timeframe, and thats just amongst the current crop of new pros, and of course lets not forget Ronnie winning the UK in his second season!

But yeah, I get the point you are making, he certainly looks to have settled well this season and should be a pro for years to come, hopefully top-16!
