Only 2 of the 7 opening main venue matches are currently streamed on Bet365, Si Juahui's and Zhang Anda's, I hope that's not the new norm.

Good crowd for ROS match apparently. Match started an hour late to let all the fans in.

Yep, Mink's very popular over there.

          Max alert

          Pang (vs ROS)

edit - poop!, missed the yellow that he had hit off its spot off the last red to come round the table

Could be another one for Kyren. He’s playing well. Can’t wait to see if The Crucible Curse gets him lol.

Strange this morning watching Judd play such negative shots , the main one for me was when he just rolled the red in to get to snookers required and didn't play it for position on the black and consequently missed it! He won the frame after being put in several decent snookers but Xu went from strength to strength I feel after seeing this and other negatively played shots.

Trump has looked very strong so not sure really where his lack of confidence came from today.

John Higgins - anyone know what he was swearing at (no need for specialist lip-readers there! )?

I saw it but no audio as on work meeting

A good week to be named Trump.

It was just because he’d been pulled off at 5-5. Clearly he felt with 35 minutes until the next match he felt he should have been allowed to carry on.
I thought there was a ruling on this. At least for UK tournaments. Someone will know.

Don't forget they also need at least 15mins to brush down and reset the area for the next match; so I am sure the TDs have a number in their head.
It is the second time he has had to come off and then wait.... many players do not like that.

I wonder if Higgo will pick up a fine for that?

Second time in the tournament, he needs to get a move on simple as that. If it was up to me his ban for agreeing to match fixing would just about be up by now, he's been given far too much leeway.

Ding played great to knock out Kyren who was looking on top form.

but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair
