Maybe 17 years hard slog to earn your first ranking titles helps loosen the arm a little and also helps a player lose that fear that's always there in the back of the mind.

It surprises me Shehab hasn't won a match this season after beating Moody in Sheffield in the Crucible qualifiers, probably a bit unsettled in the UK i don't know.

Absolutely no need to go for a re-rack there.

Not a bad draw for Ross Muir, Jimmy eternity White then Robert Milkins.

Maybe. Jimmy and The Milkman are still very dangerous. Depends what mood they’re in. Ross will be steady as normal.

Personally see it as a good draw for Jimmy - he's more than capable of beating both. Would be cool to see him at the UK.

It seems that Xiao only comes alive when he's behind.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Marks playing like he's hungry for a kebab and wants £150k paycheck to buy one with.

What a brilliant Maverick genius Mark Williams is! Some of the shots he manufactured others just wouldn't play because either they can't see them or they consider too risky. He seems to find ways to take on entertaining shots with very clever risk mitigation tactics.

Well done, great deserved win. 👏👏

And a great character to boot. Think Xiao ran out of steam, all those close tense matches caught up with him in the end, although I thought a day's rest might have mitigated that. Funny post match interview from Xiao, seems like a nice bloke.

Yes indeed he is, I also loved the way he made the point to Hendry about not doing too bad with his new cue!! Can't remember the exact words but it was definitely a dig back at his Pal.

Xiao was very respectful towards Mark and came across very well, as for Rob Walker the blanks filled with two N's would create a very descriptive phrase for him. 🤣👏

He Gouqiang is playing some excellent stuff and is 5-0 up, looks comfortable to face McGill in the next round of qualifying and dare I say it - beat him.
