These matches should be Weds & Thurs - no dates or times yet.

I know people moan about football matches being moved for telly but I really think snooker could do with it. Si Jiahui v Wu Yize going out at 3am Chinese time is surely gonna lose it a lot of viewers compared to if it went out at 9pm Chines time (our 1pm session).

Thanks. Has anyone been to York? Is there a partition or would I be able to see all the games at once?

If its the same as last year there will be a partition, judging by this.

You can be a fighter without resorting to walking around the table umpteen times, Robertson last night was the same, you'd think all the balls on the table moved every time he potted a ball and he had to check them all again twice. I gave up after an hour, imagine Selby, Robertson, Moody and Allen in the semis of the worlds
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare

They could watch it on catch up without knowing the result, I do that with the chinese tournaments.

It's not the same for me, but that's probably cos I get curious and have to look up the score.

You know, I didn’t watch all the match and tbh I haven’t been watching many at all, but I love snooker and still like to post on what I see and think, I saw Stan fighting and that was a small positive in his generally negative mannerisms.I’ve realised I find most of the players in the modern game pretty boring and with the amount of tourneys now on a never ending it feels, calendar I’m sure I’ll be watching events less of the “same old”.

I’ve actually been watching more Alex Higgins matches on YouTube than the latest qualifiers stuff etc because I guess I’ve got old and the superfine cloth and perfect conditions “you better not miss cos you’ll lose the frame” type snooker is getting boring. 🥱
