If Stuart isn’t already, he needs to get some help with his technique; SightRight or something similar. He’s pushing that cue through about as straight as a dog’s hind leg!

Same goes for players in my club, most people are 40+ now, whereas when I was in my 20s so were alot of others in the club. It's alot of the same faces from years ago, and not many kids anymore.Last edited by Billy; 26 November 2024, 09:28 PM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

What a shame Zang didn’t stay to receive the audience’s appreciation of his max. I know it brought the interval but he could have least walked back to his chair for a sip of his drink to soak up the applause 🤷♂️Last edited by Billy; 26 November 2024, 09:51 PM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Bedtime got to me before the match finished last night, but I’ve just seen the score. How in the name of all that is snooker did Bingham prevail over Williams!? Absolutely gutted!"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

I wish I could say you've missed some exciting snooker, but Robertson is playing like Mark Allen does. Apparently he's gone online saying the game in this era has changed and now it's more about trying to stop your opponent scoring rather than getting in and creating a chance....
What a great future the viewing public have if they all start adopting this......
When I reclothed our clubs match table I also reshaped the corner pocket openings to the WPBSA templates sourced from DeanH. About 3 mm was taken off the curve of the pocket opening each side to make them straight across the fall while the distance across the fall remained the same, the difference is huge, balls near the cushion no longer have that fear factor, blacks off the spot drop off the far jaw when before they wouldn't and yet still any near jaw contact is fatal, new cloth so cushion slide is a factor. The pros play on tables that are very different to ours, even the 1992 templates I've copied, especially those Rasson ones.

Making me laugh Peter Ebdon taking notes on Shaun’s play! There’s only one real problem with Murphy’s game and it’s his safety! He’s no where near focused enough or clever enough about where he puts the white.
its been a lot better than usual in this match so I guess thats where he’s trying to help him.
anyone know?Last edited by Cue crafty; 27 November 2024, 04:00 PM.⚪ 🔴🟡🟢🟤🔵💗⚫🕳️😎

Murphy's problem is obvious - concentration. He's always mugging and crowd-pleasing at the wrong moments, always hyper conscious of the audience.

Well great great match there, that has given the championship a lift for me. Well played Murphy, brilliant long red in the decider to set up the win!! 👏
Looked like Ebdon was happy with Shaun's decision to play a safety and put the green safe too instead of going for a mad thin cut on the black for a 147 chance.⚪ 🔴🟡🟢🟤🔵💗⚫🕳️😎
