Yeah, sounds like he's constantly miscueing, doesn't it? I prefer very hard tips myself but MJW's ones must be incredibly hard... does anyone know what brand he's using?

Pretty (very) lucky frame to win from Ding there.

Me too. Every shot sounds like a miss-cue!

Surprisingly mediocre match so far IMHO...

I do wish the BBC producer would ask Hazel to stop that silly whispering at the start of every frame!!!

If I was just listening and not watching, I’d swear he was using a rest as a cue, hitting the cue ball with the brass head!!! πŸ€ͺ

Well, I'll just cite Dominic commenting on Eurosport ... "Ding's run of the balls kept him in the match". Hard pill to swallow if it wasn't MJW on the receiving end of that

Gutted for Willo,he seemed destined not to win that match with Ding. Looked like he really wanted it as well.

I hope Ding doesn't waste his opportunity now.

The backstage bangs and knocks are really starting to irritate me… and I’m only watching!

Carter v Selby - this ain't gonna be quick. Could be quite the late night.

I like no commentary and volume up so I get the full atmosphere, but I've had to turn off my subwoofer, or it sounds like I'm watching Independence Day on full whack!

Selby looked good tonight, played some very classy snooker.

made me giggle when he took the pi55 out of Murphy too. πŸ˜†πŸ‘

Yeah, he really looked more than solid... not quite the fearsome Selby of old (I still sense a certain fragility, we'll see about that in the next rounds), but nearing. He's probably the favourite to come out of this half of the draw, you'd think.

Interesting observations by Neal Foulds about Selby being back to his longer bridge and back swing cue action, somewhat against the comon trend.

If Selby keeps that form up he'll win the event. It was a complete performance, when he's scoring well he's almost unbeatable.
