How many of them are clueless idiots just enjoying the day out and spectacle ?

I think it’s attracted to the remnants of the doughnut sugar around his mush.

Maybe a wee bit less than this but they’re planning on adding more seats. You can see why there’s pressure to move from The Crucible with its 1,000 seat maximum. Doesn’t sound like there’s a lot of clueless idiots this year. Probably as a result of Ronnie pulling out?

          • It does irritate me when the pink can’t go on its own spot and there’s no others available, and the commentators explain its replacement by saying β€œIt has go in line with the black and the top cushion…”

What the hell does that even mean?? The top cushion is approximately 6ft wide. Why don’t they just say in line with the centre spots?
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

            • 7 - 3 to Murphy now and he seems unstoppable. Surely Kyren MUST win the next to give himself a chance.

              • That was one hell of a 78 from Kyren to take the 13th frame, considering where the balls were when he came to the table, superb.

Yes but as far a Rest Wars goes, he’s losing the championship challenge there too right now. 🀣

good fight from the Warrior tbh, he’s on a different level these days in terms of confidence and stature as a player. You can see he believes in himself.

i do still feel the stiff action let’s him down on a tough pot from time to time under pressure though. Always comes down to β€œthose moments” who wins the big ones.

                  • Well done both players, great final. Love the comments at the end and don’t begrudge Shaun’s talent making him a 2 time Masters champ.

I must now however mention the unbelievable cows lick quiff over the 6 head! ( definitely 2 more than a forehead! )

LOL He's setting the trend cc.

Great final, quality from both, really enjoyed it. And it's a well deserved title for Shaun, played brilliantly through the tournament.

Can't believe it's 20 years since he won the worlds.

About 99% of the crowd were wearing those earpieces for tv commentary, did they give them away for free at the masters to make everyone just part of the herd ?

I wouldn't be able to sit through a session listening to Dennis Taylor.
I remember on the old bbc 606 forum somebody said, i forget his name, that he was at some snooker function and Taylor was there and Taylor looked at him like what the cat dragged in.
Stopped buying into his homely act when i was confronted with the exclusivity of WS playing conditions, same with the others as well.

This is amazing as I'm able to still hate on him whilst absolutely loving watching his fantastic talent! It's just two different people to me, wahoo!!! πŸ˜‚
I wholeheartedly concur with this statement, cant stand the man, but I love watching him play!

Usually the earpieces can pick up both BBC and Eurosport/Discovery commentators

Why oh why did they use Taylor for the players' introductions, did no one tell him that the microphone picks up everything so you dont need to shout?!!!
Totally ruined the walk on for both players.
                              Up the TSF! :snooker:

Agree re Taylor, I think he's a complete brown nose, has all the niceties for the hierarchy in the game, and complete snobbery for anyone below him. I wish Alex had carried out his threat years ago and had him shot, the creepy little arsze lickin gimp.
