Great result for the young Welsh lad Liam Davies, beating McGill 4-3, with some decent scoring along the way. He's got Elliot Slessor in the main event, would be nice to see him have a good run.
-The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Main competition has started and can be watched on various - but to remind some, BBC Wales, BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button channels are also showing the matches.

So I’m watching this on BBC Wales and we have Doherty, Virgo, Taylor, and Murphy commenting. Why then is it generally considered the BBC only cover three tournaments - the ‘big three’ as they’re known?"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Do the refs get disciplined for incorrect decisions? That free-ball awarded to Ma Hailong was outrageous! The fact he had to ask the ref in the first place was a red flag.Last edited by Billy; Today, 11:01 AM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"
