Yes, here here! At least someone who’s trying their heart out gets a shot. 👏

At least Ronnie gave enough notice for a replacement to be sorted for once, although booking a flight to China at such short notice must be a bit of a faff!

Very well written article by Des Kane, that I enjoyed reading so thought I'd share here:- https://www.eurosport.com/snooker/wo...61/story.shtml

I dont think anyone is saying Ronnie shouldn't prioritise his mental well being over the game, just the way he has been withdrawing at the last minute causing so much disruption on the way! Best thing would have been for him to say 'I'm taking a 6 month break' I'll see you all when im back up for it' He did it before when he took that year out!

As the article says though, hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Luca Brecel has withdrawn due to medical reasons.
Luca already won the round 1 match and was due to play Tian Penfei, who now gets a walkover to L32.

Because a match has already been played, no replacement player this time.

Is this being televised? I lose track.

at least in UK and Ireland until 2am 28th when the old Eurosport and Discovery+ will stop and you will have to pay huge amount to continue with TNT/Discovery+

betting sites will probably continue as before :cross-fingers:

dodgy sites will probably be unaffected

Okay, thanks, Dean. If I can’t watch it all I don’t think I’ll bother with the opening matches. I’ll just periodically check the live score websites to see who’s doing what.
