I don't mind Dave Hendon, but Yates does our head in so sometimes turn the sound off when he is commentating.

I quite liked the SBI guy commentating on The European event, not sure if just because he's a different voice, but he seemed more human somehow.

Higgins grinds out another win.

Yes Nifty, I would say Guodong lost it rather than Higgins won it. It all seemed to go wrong for him after he declared a foul on himself while cueing over the reds, he seemed to lose his composure after that. He had multiple chances to get it over the line but couldn't. Higgins' long game was patchy, think he will need to be on his game to get past Trump this evening.

Re Mark Williams. He really needs to pop along to an Opticians and get his eyes tested. It might be some other problem like cataracts but an eye test is what he needs.
