I think Davis admitted to sometimes using this tactic.

Freaky coincidence. After the final started this evening I decided to put on a film and dip in and out of the snooker. As I dipped in just now an ad break was ending and the snooker came back on with a little montage of the match, accompanied by John Parr’s song, St Elmo’s Fire. And the film I’d decided to watch? St Elmo’s Fire 😮
