Ebdons the only player ive seen that can address a ball 20+ times and still miss the pot by 6 inches plus. Makes it even look more farsical when that happens.

I just had a look at the video again... At the 3:30min mark, he feathered 18 times before hitting the pink. I think he ended up losing his own rhythm when he missed the red at the end of the clip.

There used to be a lot more competition for snookers slowest player when guys like Robbie Foldvari, Mario Morra, Ian Williamson, Jack Fitzmaurice, Clive Everton and Steve Duggan were around, luckily for TV fans they rarely if ever in some cases, made it to the TV stages.

Ha ha I know Steve Duggan VERY well ! He's a great bloke always got a smile on his face and not a bad word about anybody. Was a bit slow tho lol.

Ebdon only slows down to disrupt an opponent's rhythm and alter the pattern of the match if he is a few frames behind in a match.

Normally Ebdon is not painfully slow.

Thorburn, Griffiths and Taylor are the genuine grinders.
