Mid-late May World Championship in future?

This might be a false rumour but with snooker seem to be an all year sport since the Godfather took the helm and that I heard sometime ago about the goverment suggesting scrapping the May Day holiday which normally would be the last day. I could therefore see that the Spring Bank holiday would be the next possible date for a final day for the World Snooker Championship and I wouldn't be suprised if Barry backs it.

Good or bad idea? Maybe good as it will be more lighter evenings. Bad as it must be a streeful time for the players.
