Freekick just outside the box, Messi takes it. It takes a huge deflection and is an own goal. Wait, it's been dissallowed. Can't have anyone being lucky in Sport.
Strauss edges to slip but the fielder has dropped an easy catch. Tough, says the Umpire. You aren't allowed to be lucky. I'm giving you out.
Tiger Woods shanks hos drive into the trees. It rebounds off a branch and rools onto the fairway. Hang on, here comes the referee. He's dished out a two stroke penalty for being lucky.
It doesn't really work, does it?

Actually i was thinking the same thing looking at all this flukes this week, i mean, isn't the rule in american pool that you have to nominate the ball and the pocket and also when you play safe, you have to call safety shot? What's wrong with that!? If you can't have flukes in pool why are they allowed in snooker? But ok, in snooker it would be a little different cause in pool you nominate the ball by it's number and in snooker when you're about to pot a red you just have to nominate the pocket. I think someone with more experience in pool could clarify this subject. Ace Man?...cue is our weapon, and we know how to kill...
