  • Verbal Diarrhea

I have had a gut full of the some of the commentators, they just do not stop talking and mostly a lot of rubbish, very hard to enjoy the game in play. They continually talk about the next shot the player is about to play and 90% of the time they are wrong. That said, I do enjoy Dominic Dale commentating as he only talks when necessary and his comments are always relating to the game. I have come up with a solution, I play music whilst the game is in play.

Why 2 commentator when only 1 is necessary, Dominic would do a great job on his own.

If other members agree with me voice your opinion and perhaps the commentators will get the message.

The funny thing is you posted this three times.. Talk about Verbal Diarrhea lol, I know what you mean they talk so much trash it's beyond belief! Makes me laugh when they draw lines and players play it a completely different way though

Snooker doesn't need play by play.... colour commentary is enough. In fact, it's perfect.

Dennis, Willie and Virgo all seem to think they need to discuss every shot in order to create tension. The game is naturally chalk full of tension! They only ruin it by talking so much.

I agree, it's very frustrating to listen to.

Watch Eurosport then. I've always enjoyed commentary from Mike Hallet and Joe Johnson. Sometimes they bring in Alan "Angles" McManus...

The good thing about Clive Everton is that he doesn't feel the need to talk constantly.

Clive was the most succinct commentator of all. Shame he's no longer part of the team.

Yea bring Clive back! It's not only the fact that Virgo and Thorne love listening to their own voice but most of the time there berrating someone for playing a shot when they them selves were ****. Hendry is a pretty good commentator in my opinion. I don't think he'll be doing much commentating though this year
Forget it, Donny, you're out of your element

Alan is commentating nicely, but his Scottish accent is too difficult for me to understand at times. Other than that, I love Eurosport commentary.
Dominic and Stephen could be good as commentators. They do not try to come up with an explanation to every single trivial shot.
