Fantastic safety battle between Dott and Dale!

Great close match indeed on the other table as well...going to watch that one after the Dale Dott match is finished.

Cracking end to the Stevens/Xintong match, could go either way.

I wasn't aware Matthew Stevens plays a fait bit with his left hand. Apparently because he doesn't like using the rest. Never knew that.

Yeah, he's been doing that for years. Not quite as good as Ronnie but he has made centuries left handed. He hates the rest more than any other player I think.

Cheers for that. Not like Jimmy White then...who grew up being fairly short and needed the rest far more often than normal, and consiquently learned how to play with the rest better than others. Funny how different players favor or learn different ways of playing the game.

Well, I've finished watching the Stevens - Zhao Xintong match. Not very high quality snooker but fairly entertaining nevertheless. Zhao did very well. A relieved Matthew Stevens I'm sure. He really has a tendency not being able to finish matches off as quickly as possible and let his opponent back in. Weird...happens time and time again with Stevens. Very risky 'strategy'...

A session with three very interesting matches, and they've managed to choose Maguire-Burnett for TV, as usual.

Not great stuff between Williams and Davis at the moment. Best-of-11, so a bit of time for Williams to get back into the match, but he could do with winning this frame.

4-2 now, that clearance from Davis in the last frame could easily have broken Williams' resolve, but he won the next one in one visit. Needs another one probably, it would be difficult to come back from 5-2 down.
