    • Well, that was one of the best finals I've ever seen! (Only kidding Odrl )

It was very enjoyable though, well done to Judd. But, another not too impressive venue for me, both atmospherically and technically, I shudder to think of the world champs being held in such a place.

      The fast and the furious,
      The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

      • Thanks PB,yeah I thought this venue was good with 4 tables at the same time so eliminating an unnecessary 17 days like the worlds but for a single table arena its hard to beat the Crucible. :-)

            • Nice final, nothing spectacular though. Good win for Trump. Didn't expect him to come back from 6-8 down against Robbo, so well done to him. He can go out and by himself a new supercar again

Onto the next tournament...this Tuesday already

That's a bit like saying I'm going to remove all pubs to save me the unnecessary pint after work, or remove page 3 of The Sun to save me the unnecessary look at a pair of tits.

17 days may be unnecessary, but does everything that needs doing have to be necessary. 17-days, two table event is perfect in my opinion. 17-days of snooker, what's not to like? By far the best sporting event of the year. And as you say, it's one of the best venues in the world.

Simple's,an arena with tables and tv cameras and a hefty audience for all, then do a Crucible and move the furniture.

Judd Trump thrashed Aditya Mehta on a tv table at the same time Ricky Walden and Selby were going about their match,we didn't get the option to see it b/c of no camera, isn't this the age of consumer choice and all,yes I know money's tight but just saying. :-)
