    Allen 4-0
I am sure Williams will take this great performance in this event to the next one. Well done.
So Allen has as long relax before the final as the other two still battle it out.
Question: how do people think about this, would you prefer a longer gap between matches or better to "get on with it"?

I think there should definitely be an element of endurance in snooker. So if they're playing short matches then they should play as many in a day as possible, with reasonable breaks in between of course.

Lovely ton from Mags to draw level.

              tough match that was
Ding did well to stay the course

Ding has a lead in the H2H with Allen (8-3) so should be confident (especially with his recent tournament results )
              Looking forward to the match

Have to agree, epic is the word! Hats off to Ding for pinching the 6th and doing what was needed in one visit, in the final frame.

                Looking forward to the final.

This could be a quick final, Ding has started a bit lethargic, the extra rest time for Allen could be an advantage...

                      not what I expected,
                      well done Mark

anyone know the coach that Mark has just credited?
                      - should have waited a minute, Dave Hendon said it is Terry G

You were right. Some nice snooker from Allen. Ding's been playing great all week. It's a pity he missed the odd ball now and then. It made all the difference.

True would have been nice to see another 4-3 though was enjoyable anyway, roll on the next comp!

I missed the final yesterday and i'm just watching it now, i notice Ding is leaving the chalk on the table between shots instead of his pocket, any reason for this? Its quite rare for players to do this in snooker is the reason i ask.
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

Most of the players have been doing this all week. I think it's because they don't have waistcoats on to hold the chalk.
