Important frame to win for Liang, lucky in fact, because O'Sullivan had a couple of good chances. Maybe that could be the plan after the interval, just drag O'Sullivan down to his level and scrape out a 6-5 victory.

Zhao Xintong leading Hawkins 4-0 at the moment, so it looks like my fears were unfounded. Last year Lyu Haotian was the revelation of the tournament, this year it could be Zhao. Doesn't get any easier even if he wins today though, because an in-form Fu awaits in the next round.

He has his mojo, Trump has lost his and players are now glad to draw Trump as they expect him to lose and don't fear him as they see him as lacking in confidence, an easy target.
He's just banged in another one. That's three centuries today, two yesterday and 38 for the season!

Got the first part, but then he misses that sitter of a pink, and O'Sullivan still wins the frame...

I can't remember the last time O'Sullivan gifted anyone this many chances. Liang has wasted almost all of them, this time missing another easy pink and later an easy green, but eventually he had to get something right...

The magic of snooker, they played some of the worst snooker we've seen this season for a couple of frames, and then Liang gets an excellent pot and puts in a visit like that.

                    • Liang is one of the slowest players on the tour and he knows grinding beats Ronnie

                        • ROS out too . . .

                          C'mon Neil Robertson!

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

I was going to say exactly this, and couple that with outrageous luck, the last few shot's showed wen bo can play upbeat. shocking when you have to resort to gamesmanship though.

                            • What a match, I was getting nervous myself towards the end.

O'Sullivan gave Liang chance after chance after chance after chance until Liang started to play a bit. I'm quite pleased for him, you could see how much it meant to him. He played poorly for a lot of the match, but just the fact that he got a win over Ronnie O'Sullivan is surely bound to give him some confidence. Won't be easy against Mark Davis though...

Ronnie hasn't lost a match to a better player ever has he?
