            • Looking forward to the conclusion. I've always thought that best-of-19s were much better for the finals than best-of-17s, because they just leave that extra bit of snooker after the final interval.

Fu has done remarkably well to be ahead, after everything that's been thrown at him, and now it's up to Ding to respond.

It has been great to watch this final. I can see it going down to the final black at this rate.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

                • Once again Virgin Media thinks that this show is Live: Fed Cup Tennis so has not recorded it. I'm getting really hacked off with Virgin Media.

                        It's getting very edgy now.

It sure is. Suddenly a scoring chance for either player isn't automatically the frame won. Trump finished with two centuries from 8-8 last year, but this one might be a bit more dramatic. Which is fair enough, since we've already had so many centuries earlier...

                          • Ding looks so nervous, he's crumbling under pressure! Fu on the other hand seems very cool and composed just as if the game had just begun. I really can't see him losing right now!

Well, it's not long ago that he had that terrible miscue, followed by a completely mi**** long pot. And now another chance wasted...

Well let's see if Ding is able to clear and win the frame. Frankly, I don't think he is!

Edit : and he was not... it's not just a question of how he looks after 16 frames, he really takes an unusually large amount of time to selct his shots and his cue action has left him down. Against Dott getting a cannon on the difficult red and clearing the table would've been a formality. Fu has put him under some considerable pressure and Ding isn't able to deal with it at the moment!
