So far this has been some of the highest level snooker I've seen recently.

5- 3 to Judd after a great century in the last frame of the session. Going to support him this season after never being his biggest fan before. Time to get behind an attacking talent after Selby's win in the worlds, not to mention go-slow Robertson.

Big last session coming up and some excellent play from Trump to give him the 5-3 lead going into the night session. Trump has been a tad lucky with a few very aggressive shots that landed nicely for him off double kisses while failing to pot which have placed Robertson in a pickle or often an unintended Snooker.

Some good Snooker being played by these two though and it is a joy to watch so far.

Robertsons A game has not really been sighted so far and i doubt Trump can play at a higher level.

Yeah he is real go slowwwwww and the average shot time so far is 24 secs to 18.

But i suppose playing real fast and recklass to excite people on a forum or in the crowd is more important than winning so go Trump huh??? Go figure.....

Robbo is completely off his game at 7-3 down. Unless Neil starts playing like he did in the last 4 frames against Trump in the WC QF then I highly doubt he's gonna come back from this.

He has had one or two kicks but also missed some sitters without any indication of a kick.
JT is just taking his chances when he gets them.

better start for NR in the 11th frame

Neil has not brought his A game sadly but in saying that trump has backed himself and made some sensational pots so kudos to him.

Massive comeback required but i doubt Neil can do it from this far down with Judd only needing 1 frame for victory. So hard to win 2 ranking events in different continents back to back within 2 weeks of each other.

Finally an English win on Australian soil! Deserved victory for Trump, he was the better player throughout the final, and indeed the tournament.

Bad luck Neil as you need your A grade game to win these finals but Trump deserved it and he came out bang on in the second session.
