I hoped that Anthony Hamilton had hit a bit of form of late . Disappointing result for him . Well played the other O'sullivan .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Can't wait for this match, Ant is from my neck of the woods and is a great player, would be nice to see him play well

        Dominic Dale 5 v 6 Vinnie Calabrese

Dominic might be looking for a new cue again.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

What a massive incentive for the lesser lights of the game . Win your 1st match and get £3000 . Should hopefully see a few tight matches . Great prize money all the way through this Tournament .

Got next week off work. Already got a 12-can case of lager at home, and am going to stop by Tescos for some big-arse backs of crisps and other such snacks on the way home today. In between that, and visits to the pub, I might watch some snooker.

Quite possibly. One time I even managed to get Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Steve Davis put on instead of live football. This was a Sunday afternoon, and the pub tends to get a lot of office staff. So Sundays are dead. This was a UK Championship match as well, I think. And the Landlord had got all his staff in so they could put up Christmas decorations as there wouldn't be many customers. For about an hour, I'm the only customer. I'm sat in the corner, drinking beer and watching the game. I'd occasionally shout helpful advice like; "You're putting that one up wrong." The only other company I got was another fella who came in on his own, and moaned "What you watching snooker for?", before asking them to put the FA Cup Draw on the other telly.

I'm considering taking a similar outing this year. The advantage is it's next door to my flat, so if they say no I can be back in my living room within 90 seconds.

Like it, could always hold the stool while the skirted barbabe tries her little heart out to hang a deflated santa from the ceiling this year..

good win this morning for young Michael White against Joe Swail (6-0)
This is only the second time they have met, 2011 China Open where Joe won 5-3.

Poor decider for both players, so many wasted chances... Lyu had a fluke early on and another fluked safety later, but couldn't take advantage. It was that in-off from the yellow that finally cost him, should have got the snooker really...

He is a stereotypical young player at the moment... A lot of impressive pots, but also careless in the balls and going for too many. But he still has 6 years to go to even be as old as Lisowski is now, so plenty of time to improve.

yellow down the cush looked the shot, and the green was gagging for it.
in 10 years be something else
