  • So Bingham has already won the two frames I predicted him to. Robbo is not out of second gear yet and I doubt he will need to against Bingham.

    • That was a great frame.

A lesson for all the players unwilling to fight on for snookers, especially when reds are still on the table and you can potentially get 12 points off a single mistake. Wasn't enough in the end though, so he better forget this frame quickly, because he needs the next one to give himself a chance in the evening.

Is it not time we ignore the total centuries record and started following a system of 'Century's made, per frame played'? (the only accurate way I can think of using now) - and if we do that, we discover that Ding is possibly the best century maker of them all, here is a list.... (not including all players, just 10 examples, there are obviously players that would be in the top 10 I have not used) - Note Not up to date either!

Ding Junhui 1 century every 11.1 frames
              Ronnie O'Sullivan 1 century every 12.34 frames
Judd Trump 1 century every 13.73 frames
Neil Robertson 1 century every 14.43 frames
Stephen Hendry 1 century every 15.13 frames
Mark Selby 1 century every 16.02 frame
John Higgins 1 century every 16.75 frames
Shaun Murphy 1 century every 18.51 frames
Mark Williams 1 century every 26.88 frames
Steve Davies 1 century every 35.08 frames
Jimmy White 1 century every 35.55 frames
does not really work like that though - faster cloths mean balls break better now than in the past. it is impossible to compare.

                    • I can't watch. I'm taping it at the moment and watching the livescores.

So it's 6-3 to Robbo. What are you doing Stuart.

                          • No way back from here, I'm afraid... Not when Bingham is missing easy balls in every frame and Robertson is playing alright. Is there going to be an interval?

                            • Nice break, hopefully Bingham can play another couple of good frames now that he has nothing to lose.

score could easily have been 8-4 the other way but 5 in a row against robertson is not going to happen.
