According to Hainsworth their Precision cloth is used for this event. As I have it on my table too I can guarantee it is a very fast cloth and keeps its speed. Mine is around 9 months old now and speed is still there although I'm starting to get some wear around the pink and black spots.

Its extremely fast, one of the tables in the pool league had the precision cloth and its excellent!

I've not noticed much in the way of kicks so far. Odd.

Utterly pointless tournament. Unless your intention is to remove all the drama, skill, equity and strategy from a fabulous game and then fast feed the moronic lagerheads with a concept even they can understand. I'm surprised any of the top players even play in it.

Looking by the regular faces that aren't in it .......they don't .

The only thing i like about it , is that the lesser lights can win some money .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I agree ... watched quite a lot of the matches and didn't notice a single kick.

disturbing behavior. i watched the last match tonight with woollaston vs burden. the music came on and burden said "go on" to woollaston as to to go first, as to walk down the stairs, but i believe i saw him push ben in the back halfway down. did anyone spot that, and if so didn't it look threatening to you?

yeah i can only find the lag vid too, but i def caught ben getting an intimidating shove down the steps by burden, and seeing the hand shake at the end told me just how he might see some players.

Lets hope the weather is better today, gave up watching yesterday afternoon due to the sound/video breakups and was out last night so missed last nights also.

Enjoyed a few of the close games the other day and some good line-ups today.

Most are to close to call but I've stuck a 6 way accumulator on at 45/1.

                          Un-Nooh
                          Allen
                          Dott
                          Burden
                          King
                          Bingham

starts off a bit risky but most are evens so it might come good. I was one away from a 8 way in the first year so fingers crossed !

Put a few quid each on Allen, Bingham and Un-Nooh to win outright.

Oh well, Un-Nooh lost which was my risky starter and Allen just sealed the deal on backup smaller accumulator.

So Dale is going to sing a number if he wins, allen threw him a life line in this match. If he remembers the rules for later, I think we might get to hear his song.

oh no, if it anything more than an camaraderie black-slap then it is out of order and maybe investigated.
well if he was trying to put AH off, it did not work
