It does cost you money though. Not much.

As to their legality, well, ahem, I'm not really sure.

Silly question. What's this event like? It's one of those things that seems to have literally been on a weekend I have been busy and unable to watch almost every year since it started. I have seen bits and bobs on You Tube, but have never had the time/opportunity to sit down and watch the whole weekend.
I remember getting back from a weekend away the first year it was televised, and people raving about it like it was the next big thing. However reception has somewhat cooled since then.
As I no longer have Sky Sports, is this tournament worth me going out of my way to watch? Eg. Should I camp out the whole weekend round somebody's house who has Sky Sports just to watch it, or is it just gimmick filled nonsense?

Hard to say. There were more dramas the first year, not lest Rory McLeod beating Tony Drago with an almost surreal three-cushion pot on the black in the last seconds after Drago had been 55 up. And Robertson making 38 in 2 minutes and 30 seconds with the last black ending in the pocket after timeout. But there are also the quite boring matches where someone builds a lead of 20 - 30 and then runs down the clock. At times these matches can be a pain to watch.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE
"Its called snooker not potting" Quote: Rory McLeod

ZHANG ANDA beat MARTIN GOULD
It was a good match but Martin didn't get a lot of chances.
CAO YUPENG beat MARK SELBY
Mark put the white in the pocket on the break off shot and it went downhill rapidly for him from then on.Last edited by cyberheater; 24 January 2014, 06:36 PM.
