I'm not trying to hate on Judd Trump, but the guy has a tendency to have a lot of outrageous flukes. Must be frustrating for his opponents.

As for positional play, I've seen him do a lot worse this season, obviously it could have been a lot better but it wasn't 'terrible', you kinda sound as if you're just hating for the sake of it. He had a good pot, long-pot and safety success in that match so I'd say he played fairly well.

I don't think Judd is playing bad at all. He didn't play great today but I think the table is a lot to do with the form of players in this event. I've never seen so many kicks on a table in all the years I've watched the game. Not only that but the table seems to have a strange pace to it as well, the cloth is dead but the cushions are bouncing, seems like the outside tables are performing better.
I think whoever plays on the TV table is going to struggle, not one match of good quality on it thus far!

Looks like Trump is starting to steam roller Holt on one of the off tv tables.
Ding is looking very strong on the tv table. Perry hasn't done a lot wrong in this match but Dings long potting is spot on today so any half chances Perry is leaving him are rapidly becoming frame winners. I think Perry is going to have to start going for long pots if he wants a chance to win this match because he won't win against Dings safety game.
