Strong final frame from Ding to set things up nicely for tonight. I bet Trump was thinking he was bound to have a lead at 4-2, and he did have good chances to make it 5-2, but he will have to build up the advantage all over again now.

Very impressive play from both players. It certainly could go
either way and whoever wins will deserve the victory.
Besides Robertson these are two of my favorite players
and its nice to see Trump getting his confidence back
as he is great to watch when he is playing well as are
Ding and Robertson.
Looking forward to the next round regardless of who wins.

It's still pretty tough to call... Trump looked stronger for most of the afternoon, but maybe got a bit sloppy towards the end. Can he take control of this session as well?

Ding, on the other hand, has a slight psychological advantage now, because he pretty much got the maximum out of the first session, while not really playing at his best. So if he hits a bit of form, Trump could be in trouble.

It's a shame it's not a best-of-19, because those usually end up as the better matches, pretty much guaranteeing a midnight finish if it goes close. I doubt we'll get one tonight, even if it goes all the way, these two are just too fast. :smile:
