Ding is a class act! Scary to think he's only 26...

Have you seen how he got to the final. Hardly dropped a frame. And he's in the final. He is a top class player but Ding is a lot more used to this end of a tournament and his experience is starting to show.

Did he play one decent player along the way?

now you guys be fair n tell me how on earth do u think that Trump is a top class player ... absolutely no balls ... had 3-4 chances to win the frame to keep the match alive and look at the s**t he produced ... Someone like Ryan Day would have given Ding a much better fight

And yet Day has won nothing of note in his whole career, while Trump already has three ranking titles to his name at the age of 24, more than any other player of his generation. But of course I'm not saying that there isn't any room for improvement. :wink:

Anyway, tough to see Ding losing from here, although he did once lose the Wuxi Classic final from 8-2 up. He wasn't the player he is today though. :smile:

Oh dear. Trump seems to have forgotten how to play snooker again. Lets just hope that doesn't continue for the rest of the season and the form he did momentarily have in this tournament gives him a bit of confidence. No way back for Trump now, very disappointing as this could have been an epic final if he was on his game.

Can't take anything away from Ding though, he's played brilliantly since being 4-2 down, he's saved his best stuff for the final.

Agreed . I'm lucky sky bet didn't have this tournament listed because I was going to put a wee bet on Trump .

Bro, he can only beat the players that are put in front of him, as he did it in such an impressive fashion it shows how much of a great player he is. I agree he has bottled too many chances in this final and that's clearly an area to improve, I think Trump's time away from big finals has shown in this match for sure.

They should have called him Shakin' Stevens. LOL.

Looks like Trump is running out of options here. That last attempt at getting out of the snooker has let Ding in. This could be it.

loools ... so here's the story .. frustrated n drunk ... i put all in on Trump to win that frame .. being the loser he is .. he missed a sitter and somehow from somewhere Ding after doing all the hardwork first played a stupid shot on brown and then Trump got lucky with his shot .... I survived and recovere3d all my losses for the evening in the process ... what a lucky ******* i was there ... I can see this getting exciting now ... Ding has shown enough to tell me he has started shaking .. if only Trump could take heart from that
