Yeah I'm getting the same impression, specifically with Mike failing to take the chances Ding is giving him. Ding 4-0 up...

Btw what is up with the rests? Yesterday I thought Ali was up to one of his mindwarps by swapping the rest a number of times at one time before a shot, but after that match a number of players have been checking the rests and flipping them over multiple times at a shot trying to get the best side. Looks like the cue won't go through smooth or something. Very weird...

I was just wondering that. I wonder what is up with them.
They should use some of the rests at our club. The ends stuck on with gaffer tap.

      • The first frame really set the tone for this match, Ding making the better breaks but still leaving the door open for Dunn, but unfortunately Dunn hasn't taken any of his chances. It was to be expected though.

Ding v Dung? A little harsh maybe.

LOL. Dunn is making it too easy for Ding.

unfortunately froze on the day, should have stuck to tightness of first frame and battled it out, had a go but his long potting is way off and cant get any fluency in balls, nerves I guess

Yes. I just hope he avoids the whitewash.

Still. A great run for the veteran. His best result in his professional career.

                  • Well so much for predictions...Dunn going for it but failing to capitalise on his chances. I thought it might have been closer, but Ding was in excellent form. Should be a great Final tomorrow!

                    • What a missed yellow by Dunn. Unbelievable.
He just didn't turn up today. Probably way too nervous and used up all his reserve in the previous match.

                          • fun with this modern game, Dunn was 40 points ahead and the feeling was that he was going to loss

I hope Mike Dunn will take the achievement to move forward for the World and onwards
                            Well done for the semi-final.

                              • Great line up for the final tomorrow.

I think if Ding wins this on home soil, a massive monkey on his shoulder will be gone and I think he will be a real danger at the WC, more so than he already is.

I think it is hard for us to believe how many people follow Ding in his home country, but they always say he is as big as Beckham over here. Best of luck tomorrow Ding.

Lets hope Neil has his coughing under control, it seemed to spread to the ref at times the other day.

Might even get out of bed for the first session tomorrow, anyone know the proper UK time for session 1 is it 7.30am?

World Snooker do need to get their online stuff sorted out, over and over I find it rubbish and I'd be embarrassed if it was my website.

The current F1 app, even the free version, is great full of info and stats that are updated in realtime and loads of videos of press conferences that otherwise you'd miss.

They could easily do something similar for snooker.

The other day the live scoring website couldn't even keep up with four matches, let along 20 cars worth of data.

Nice final and WC soon, nice April.
