"This list shows the prize money earned by Tour players during the 2012-2013 season in those tournaments which determine the prize money based rankings list, as well as prize money earned by Tour Players in the 2013-2014 season so far. Those players who joined the Tour at the start of the 2013-2014 season started this season on zero pounds."
so the money list essentially covers 1.5 seasons so far
      Thank you.

I only saw parts of it and I can't imagine it was the hardest game of snooker Judd has ever played.

from what I saw he was playing very sweetly and not many of the "naughty snooker" () shots.
he did a shot on a red from parallel from the pink but only 3inches or so from the cush (on the green side) and potted it up the table to the green pocket, nicely paced, perfect, very nice.

From the 4 frames I saw. Judd just took advantage of him. Took on shots that he wouldn't against a top 16 player. And when the guy got in, he just missed on a few key balls. Poor guy didn't stand a chance.

Yes. I'm sure when the ref resorted the last cue ball it wasn't in the same position which allowed him to hit it. LOL.

A good comeback by his opponent to win that frame.

it was a superb shot to drop up behind the black, but as you say I am sure the cue ball was more (just a tad) to the left (as we look)

                    Yes. That's what I thought.

I can't believe Cao went for that double. Suicide.

                      EDIT:-

Quite a comfortable win for Hawkins in the end.

Doesn't seem like a lot to ask for what is becoming a global sport. Maybe that's the way it is. I'd like to know how much the number 128 in golf or tennis earns? In football there's loads of money sloshing around providing high wages for mediocre players but no-one seems to want to put any money into snooker.
I hope Barry Hearn can do something for snooker. My dream is that the sport grows big enough to provide good incomes for twice as many professionals. Big ask I suppose.
The 128th ranked (woman) tennis player on the "Race to Singapore" money list published yesterday, is Duan Ying-Ying of China; she has $30,000......earned in just January and February of 2014(!) By October, the 128th ranked player on this list will have earned (I guess) around $150,000, whereas the 128th ranked snooker player will be lucky to have earned £5k (over 2 seasons) by then. Kinda puts it in perspective doesn't it?

Ideally, I'd like the top 100 in snooker to be making a comfortable living, maybe £50k a year. But that would need payouts to first round losers, bigger sponsors etc. I think sponsors see snooker as 'too boring' and Barry Hearn is really up against it to secure anything more lucrative than some cheap-ass bookie deal. Dunno what the solution is, but the game is currently 'too British', needs some international faces, and more importantly YOUNG faces coming through (e.g Brecel, Lyu Haotian, Un-Nooh). So long as the game has it's top 32 consisting of 90%+ players in their 30's or older, it will attract minimal sponsorship in my opinion.

Thanks Jim, interesting. 30 grand for a woman is not bad although there was an "equal rights" debate raging at one time wasn't there? In woman's snooker I doubt if Reanne Evans would earn a grand. Whole new issue of course.
Real shame about the lack of sponsorship. Hopefully Barry Hearn will sign up a big name in the future. Guinness with its black and white connotations would be a good one.

So our very own Frazz has Peter Ebdon this morning.
Come on Frazz, play the table not the person!

Good call with Guinness, BigMeek...never thought about it like that lol, very appropriate for snooker. They did of course sponsor the World Cup 20-odd years ago, but only the once I think. It'd be great to have them back.

Speaking of 'snooker appropriate' sponsors, Dulux was one of the better ones that snooker let slip. First tournament to give £50k to the winner, back in 1985; stuck around only 2-3 years, disappointingly. I always thought a good quality gentlemens clothing company would be a good snooker sponsor, like a shirt or suit brand. Ralph Lauren? Hugo Boss? Sadly, none of them seem to be forming a queue. Perhaps if snooker adopted a graded dress code for different grades of tournament, it might interest one of them?

Other good sponsors to have come and gone: Royal London Watches, Mercantile Credit, MIM Britannia, Wickes, BGC, Dubai Duty-free...etc

I like the idea around this, maybe someone like hugo boss, ralph lauren, armani can sponser the player and let them provide the evening wear for major tournaments everyone who's sponsered would be in similar dress but by a different fashion house....win win, they will be able to promote their latest trends, within reason, and players would benefit from sponsership...
