well played to Dunn,
I watched his match at the Welsh and he played well and it was a tight match but lost in the end. I saw him afterwards outside and lets say he is an emotional chap as was seen when he potted the Blue to win today.
Hope he has a good run tomorrow.Up the TSF! :snooker:

Didn't see that coming, to be honest. But it did look possible from the minute Bingham withdrew and left Selby alone in that quarter. It was always going to be a shock semi-finalist if Selby didn't make it. And let's be honest, in a tougher quarter he probably would have gone out sooner.
Congratulations to Mike Dunn for the best run of his career, quite reminiscent of the one Stuart Pettman had in this tournament in 2009. Will be tough against Ding though, because he is playing pretty solidly.

just read this on Inside Snooker:
"Mark wasn’t at his best but this season I’ve made sure that anyone who beats me has to scrape me off the table. That has made a big difference. This could have been my last season and I wanted to give it everything, so if I fell off the tour I wouldn't regret it,” Dunn said.
I would certainly say that is what I saw in NewportUp the TSF! :snooker:

And that could be a winning formula, there aren't many players out there willing to play scruffy snooker they just haven't got the head for it, today Selby came up against someone who played the same type of game. It goes to show that our beloved game doesn't always have to be about massive breaks.
