Right, I've really got to stop watching this 147 now. There's always certain things in a 147 that give me a huge grin. In this one it's the guy shouting, "GO ONNN!!" at 6:09 - not yobbish, just pure excitement and a huge, genuine desire to see him do it. Then there's the young couple in the audience at 7:15 when Ronnie's on the final black; the guy with his hands on head and his girlfriend craning over Ronnie's shoulder, and the way they erupt when he sinks the black.
Brilliant!
Actually something about this clip has just struck me as very odd. It's the Eurosport broadcast, but with BBC Wales commentary??Last edited by Billy; 4 March 2014, 05:15 PM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

“The last red that Ronnie got, left-handed into the green pocket and screwing back almost the length of the table to be perfect on the black, is the best shot I have ever seen." Stephen Hendry

I agree it's nog the best shot ever, would be hard to say what is, but it's definitely up there with the best.Box the chimp.

I'd love to set the shot up (even in practice, never mind with the pressure of a max) for Trump or Robbo, my guess is they would'nt be able to screw past the middle pocket with their other hand. After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

Ok, we've seen Ronnie playing left handed for years now but for me it never gets old, i always thought he can only do the simple-ish shots, like a simple stun, or a 10 inch or so screw back, but we've seen him bridging over balls, screwing the length of the table etc, its remarkable, if the definition of ambidextrous is to do something EQUALLY well with EITHER hand, then i'm not convinced his left is as good as his right, although his left is a very high standard. After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

Yeah Scottley you're right. The correct definition of ambidextrous is that you can do things equally well with both hands or feet etc. Clearly Ronnie favours his right hand. Still ****e- hot with his left tho. Guess if he played a frame left-handed against Robbo he would lose but he'd beat a lot of other left-handed players I think.

Top 32 player with his left in my opinion, maybe even top 16.After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

I wonder if he can use the rest left handed? I can just about pot a ball with my left hand without looking too awkward, but if i attempted to use the rest left handed the table would need a new cloth lol. After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4
