High standard from Wilson and Trump that. Wilson would have beaten many top 32 players on that performance, just ran into a ruthless Trump who hardly missed a ball in that match. Big turning point was the 4th frame, Wilson nicely in the balls and probably saw the finishing line. Still that clearance from where the balls were like cyberheater said, only o'Sullivan would have cleared up from there.

I agree. Wilson was playing very well. Normally Trump would have started to fold under that. He's always complaining that people play well against him. But he seems to have got a steely determination this time. Maybe he's starting to believe how good he is. On that form he could easily win this tournament.

It's the best I've seen Wilson play. He is playing like as good as any top professional. If he keeps that kind of form up it won't be long before we see him again.

Good interview of Trump after the win against Wilson. Basically he said that he had to play to 95% of his ability to beat him. He expects Wilson to go up the rankings.

LOL at the Trump hate.

I must admit he's not my favourite player and he doesn't seem to interview well but he gave high praise for Wilson and he did manage to lighten up towards the end of the interview.
I think he was just a little shocked how well the other guy played and how well he had to play to just get through the first round. He has probably won tournaments and not played as well as that.
