Thank you Virgin Media Tivo for managing to not record this. My kids have been hogging the TV this morning but I thought it's okay. I'll start watching it later. Goes to the TV. No record light on. I'm sick of this. It happens all the time.

I blame Eurosport.

I might wrong bud, but I'm pretty sure Eurosport ain't showing it live because I'm watching it on the player and it's not being shown on any of there other channels.....

I like watching Marco Fu play. He's got a very compact precise cueing style.

I'm watching it right now on channel 526 (Eurosport 2 HD). The channel thinks its cycling

Fortunate that he didn't go in off and grant the frame to Fu, as it is Selby goes through to the final. I will be cheering on the winner of Murphy/Allen tomorrow!

I didn't expect Fu to make a match of it from 5-1 down, but there you go. He raised his game a bit, but not enough to complete the job. If he was really playing well, he would have potted that last red and cleared the table without any problem.

So, Selby survives, but he must be worried about his play in the last four frames. He just couldn't put a decent break together...

With Fu out, we are guaranteed to get the fifth major event winner of the season tomorrow. I never thought I would be saying that in the middle of March. :smile:

Selby was more then a bit lucky in that game. Missing balls and fluking snookers. But Marco did have a good opportunity to win that frame but couldn't manage it.

There is a really annoying Chinese ref who I have seen earlier in the tournament and was in charge of the Selby-Fu game today. He just follows the players around and stands inches from them when they are taking the shot. I've not seen any other ref do this and if i was a player, he would really frustrate me.

It's the same when you go into a shop in China or certain other Asian countries...shop assistants follow you around and stand about an inch away from you! I've noticed the ref make a lot of errors with the scores as well...not sure how good his English is?

What cue is Higgins using these days, or is it a matter of him going to his cue cupboard and whatever cue hits him first in the avalanche of Cues when he opens the door gets used for that Tournament?
