I didn't expect Fu to make a match of it from 5-1 down, but there you go. He raised his game a bit, but not enough to complete the job. If he was really playing well, he would have potted that last red and cleared the table without any problem.
So, Selby survives, but he must be worried about his play in the last four frames. He just couldn't put a decent break together...
With Fu out, we are guaranteed to get the fifth major event winner of the season tomorrow. I never thought I would be saying that in the middle of March. :smile:

There is a really annoying Chinese ref who I have seen earlier in the tournament and was in charge of the Selby-Fu game today. He just follows the players around and stands inches from them when they are taking the shot. I've not seen any other ref do this and if i was a player, he would really frustrate me.Customised full size Riley table with black pockets and Strachen 6811 Tournament Cloth all housed in an air-conditioned 8m x 5m Grande Servern Plus log cabin from Dunster House supported with RSJ's.
