I was wanting to see Murphy win - nothing at all against Selby, but he's of course fared better over the past few years, so I wanted to see the underdog of sorts emerge victorious - but I was halfway wanting to see Selby win that last frame, regardless. The snooker-laying play of his for those last... what was it, 20 minutes or so?... was a joy to watch. That was quite the compelling final frame.
Who knows how it may have turned-out had he not missed that golden opportunity to get it to 8-7, instead of 9-6, in the prior frame. Nonetheless, that was a fine frame, indeed, upon which to conclude the tournament.
