I'm sure there are instances of top players winning frames after needing 4-5 snookers, big shock Selby loses 4-0 to Gilbert.

Selby was forty Five or so behind with just the colours and played on for a while, I could understand when there was one red left on the table, but thought it was a bit disrespectful.

Perhaps, miracles can happen, and he needed one to be fair, not ideal preparation for Selby with the big one just around the corner.

Watched Bingham vs day and concluded that the table was tight fast and completely unplayable. Then, between matches and without me noticing, the fitters came out and opened the bags. Was like watching theBDO before the PDC.

The other table looked completely different in both matches. Players didn't seem to be having the same problems.

I also thought that Selby playing on after needing 5 snookers was a bit much. He knew that he wasn't playing well and it was highly unlikely that he would have won the match playing the way he was.

nothing live at the moment, it's 11.30pm UK time and play on the TV table finished a while ago ... although I notice O'Brien vs Holt is 3-2 but not on a TV table ...
