Delu played well. Ronnie had his chance, but missed a pretty simple red.

The rockette was playing catch-up from the start. All he did well was a great 140 break. Delu kept on at him and won comfortably in the end. Great win for the Chinese player. Very well done to him..and a big thanks as well for blowing the Roster out of the water and out of the tournament.

I'm feeling giddy as hell atm...wonderful match and the right result.

Don't think Ronnie is too upset about this. He lost to a player who played the match of his life in a best-of-seven. Not a big deal.

Hahaha you would be dead-wrong there...the way the Rockette geared up to get himself back in the match was clear to see to everyone that he wanted this win...badly. But hey, can't win 'm all can ya.

Great win for Yu Delu, up there with his win over Ding in the 2012 German Masters. I kind of expected the pressure to get to him a bit towards the end, especially after O'Sullivan's total clearance, but it's nice to see someone not pissing their pants against O'Sullivan for a change. Although he did open the door for him with that missed black. :wink:

So, a rare defeat for O'Sullivan, but it was only a best-of-7 against a pretty good performance, so no real cause for panic I guess. :smile:

Yup always the favorite...as he was for this one as well..see what happened But WSC are longer matches, so in his favor I must admit. Still...you never can tell. One good player in form and the rockette is out.

It takes way more than just "a good player in form" to beat O'Sullivan at the WSC, I'm afraid. Of the current players I don't think anyone can beat Ronnie there this year, but we'll see.
