          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

          • Steve should of kept it tight and put him back in again when he had him snookered near the end, or play a snooker himself from the free ball, bad mistake, cost him the match at the end, darned shame, hopefully he will somehow get a way back on the tour, i doubt hed of entered the jungle if he knew them lost earnings from the uk would have a big say in his tour card

            • Long time lurker first time poster.

I have a question, im very confused.

I just watched the Steve Davis game and it just finished. He got the other guy Steadman in a snooker in the last frame the guy fouled and a free ball was called. Steve potted the brown which was the red, then potted the yellow as his nominated colour, but the yellow was re spotted again? Surely it should of been after he potted it as the brown acted as the red then the yellow was the nominated colour he potted it but after that the ref didnt e spot the yellow?

I wasn't watching, but on the scores there was 27 points left on the table. So no red. The brown must have been called as a free ball yellow. Potted the brown (2 points) and then potted the yellow (2 points). So yellow stays down.

I think they were on the colours in that safety battle, there were no reds left on the table. The brown ball he potted would of counted as 2 points(yellow)

                    • Well that's it, end of an era. What a fantastic effort from Steve though, really thought he was going to do it there, but hats off to Steadman, it was a very difficult match and he just about held on in the end. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but that was an absolute classic wasn't it. Hard luck Nugget.

On the brighter side, good to see Steve practicing for his new career as a horse impersonator.

I almost posted about the free ball thing myself, then enlightenment dawned at the last minute!

You'll probably be thrown out as the arena will have multiple tables in it!
